Thanksgiving 2012

WOW!! My holiday break is almost over. This was the first year that I was on regular food for the Thanksgiving holiday. I made sure of two things: I MEASURED MY PLATE and I got in ALL of my water. It was sort of funny to fix my plate and to measure everything out I felt like all eyes were on me..lol. My dad told me that my plate looked like a snack..but it was filling for me. For dessert, I have been craving a slice of red velvet cake. A close friend of mine gave me a small slither of a red velvet... GUESS WHAT??? I did not make me sick!!! YIPPEE!!! That was my treat for the holiday.  My weight loss journey is a family affair..A cousin of mine made a sugar free  yogurt pie..just for me...so that I would not be left out on eating dessert. Now I've got to get back on schedule with my sleeping pattern because it is all out of whack!!

  #year14 post op Still pressing the GAS Keeping it moving!!!! All ABOUT  ME! 1. At times, I am very talkative but also extremely observant. My circle is extremely small. 2. I enjoy crafting.  3. I am an early morning person; generally up around 4:30ish. 4. Transitioning to be an empty nester isn't easy. 5. I will try anything DIY before I buy it. 6. I write with my left hand. 7. I really do not watch alot of TV. Movies have to have a lot of action in to make and keep my interest. 8. Thrift shopping is one of my favorite hobbies. 9. Pink, teal, and black are my favorite colors. 10. Ruby woo is my signature lipstick.💄  11. I meal prep on weekends.  12. I am in a season where focusing on my health is my top priority. 13. What's your passion?

Several days ago I went to a question and answer seminar for a upcoming company. I had never been into the company or heard of its existence until I went to the question and answer seminar. One of the questions that with asked casually to the group was, "what is your passion? "What is the one thing that you enjoy doing? The one thing that if you had to get paid for it, you wouldn't believe that you're receiving money for this particular job. I started thinking... Hum... I'm passionate about education because I've been teaching for the last 15 years, I am passionate about my daughter and being a single parent . It is to my up most benefit that I maximize time along with resources in order to provide an effective life for her. I started thinking what else is it that I am passionate about.
